FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Eprise Selects Resonate to Bolster High-Availability and Scalability
Eprise to resell and integrate Resonate Central Dispatch with Eprise Participant Server

Sunnyvale, Calif./ Framingham, Mass. — January 22, 2001 — Resonate (NASDAQ: RSNT), a leading provider of Internet Services Management (iSM) solutions, and Eprise Corporation (NASDAQ: EPRS), the leading provider of Strategic Content Management™ solutions, today announced a technology partnership in which Eprise will offer Resonate Central Dispatch™, a LAN-based traffic management solution, in conjunction with Eprise Participant Server® Strategic Content Management solution.

As a value-added reseller for Resonate Central Dispatch, Eprise® will give its Participant Server customers an easy option for improving site response times and continuing to optimize site performance as their intranet, extranet and Web sites grow. The companies also intend to integrate the technologies tightly.

"Maintaining optimized service levels of e-business applications through high availability and performance is a major challenge for organizations as the amount of information and functionality present on their sites grows daily, " said Karen Styres, Vice President of Marketing at Resonate. "By adding our sophisticated and proven traffic management functionality to the Strategic Content Management mix from Eprise, we will effectively provide companies with complete site management from content creation to overall site performance as that content continues to expand."

The Eprise-Resonate technology partnership will extend Eprise's scalability features allowing customers to add more Eprise Participant Servers to their server farms as Web site loads increase. The combined solution will ensure better response times while additional traffic management functionality protects against a single point of failure.

"Providing Resonate technology is a big win for our customers as they turn to Eprise for complete, Strategic Content Management capabilities, " said Tim Feldman, Vice President of Business Development at Eprise. "This is a significant advancement in our solution offering as it immediately addresses site traffic concerns and response time, two of an organization's biggest challenges as it expands its Web site."
