Data Collection and Sourcing

PERSONALLY IDENTIFABLE INFORMATION (PII) & SENSITIVE DATA
The Resonate platform does not collect any Personally Identifiable Information or Sensitive Data. Clients & partners are expressly prohibited from sending PII into the Resonate Platform.

SURVEY COMPLIANCE
The Resonate survey focuses on U.S. consumers and their preferences. This research is conducted through Third Party Panel Providers based on the CASRO Code of Standards and Ethics Principles of Market, Opinion, and Social Research.

SURVEY PARTICIPANT DOUBLE OPT-IN
Resonate survey respondents complete a double opt-in process prior to participating in our primary research with Third-Party Panel Providers. Respondents opt-in to participating in a research panel and they subsequently opt-in to the specific survey collection and usage terms.

BEHAVIORAL DATA
Resonate sources data to develop consumer behavioral insights partners that are Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) and/or Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) participants.

CROSS-DEVICE DATA
Resonate partners with industry leaders and DAA participants, Tapad and Acxiom, on a DAA consistent approach for device linkage.

GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION (GDPR)
Resonate is a U.S.-based company that delivers actionable insights about U.S. consumers. Resonate does not collect data from consumers outside the U.S. Resonate evaluates the source of all incoming traffic and blocks all traffic from non-U.S. sources. No logs are retained and no cookies are dropped on any non-U.S. based browser.

CONSUMER OPT OUT
Resonate offers consumer Notice and Choice through the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) icon in media and through Opt-Out options on The Resonate Website and Your Ad Choices.
